Nemo 33 is a recreational diving center in Brussels, Belgium that is home to the world's deepest swimming pool.

The pool itself consists of a submerged structure with flat platforms at various depth levels.
The pool has two large flat-bottomed areas at depth levels of 5m (16 ft) and 10m (32 ft), and a large circular pit descending to a depth of 33m (108 ft).
It is filled with 2,500,000 litres of non-chlorinated, highly filtered spring water maintained
at 30°C (86°F) and contains several simulated underwater caves at the 10m depth level.
There are numerous underwater windows that allow outside visitors to look into the pools at various depths. The complex was designed by Belgian diving expert John Beernaerts as a multi-purpose diving instruction, recreational, and film production facility, and opened in 2004.

Using a MIRV warhead, a single launched missile can strike several targets, or fewer targets redundantly. By contrast a unitary warhead is a single warhead on a single missile.

The US Minuteman 3 is the only US land-based MIRV ICBM currently in use. These MIRV capable ICBM's are especially used because they are harder to counter with anti ballistic missile systems due to number of independent re-entry vehicles in the re-entry phase. True to keeping the world more on edge, the Russians are developing the Bulava(SS-27 class) sea-launched MIRV ICBM. Supposedly the most advanced MIRV ICBM to date and still under development. This is obviously in response to the US Ballistic missile "Shield" that is under development.

Survival International estimates that there are over 100 uncontacted tribes worldwide, and says that uncontacted tribes in the region are under increasing threat from illegal logging over the border in Peru.
"The right answer is to have the kind of contact and change that the tribes themselves manage the pace of it."
Jose Carlos Meirelles, an official with Brazil's Indian protection agency who was on the helicopter that overflew the tribe, said they should be left alone as much as possible.
"While we are getting arrows in the face, it's fine," he told Brazil's Globo newspaper. "The day that they are well-behaved, they are finished."
Contact with outsiders has historically been disastrous for Brazil's Indians, who now number about 350,000 compared to up to 5 million when the first Europeans arrived.
"In 508 years of history, out of the thousands of tribes that exist none have adapted well to society in Brazil," said Sydney Possuelo, a former official with Brazil's Indian protection agency who founded its isolated tribes department.
The bow-and-arrow wielding Indians in the pictures released on Thursday are likely the remnants of a larger tribe who were forced deeper into the forest by encroaching settlement, experts said.
Rather than being "lost," they have likely had plenty of contact with other indigenous groups over the years, said Thomas Lovejoy, an Amazon expert who is president of The Heinz Center in Washington.
"I think there is an ethical question whether you can in the end keep them from any contact and I think the answer to that is no," Lovejoy said.

Something strange happend then.Plumber guy was passing by me in his car , sitting on the toilet seat and waiving to me.I said"This is weird,man",then i walked to the other side of the street.
Seeing that i couldnt make it to the toilet if i go on like this,i prepare myself to stop some car, to drive me to my house.Then something bizarre happend.A guy with toilet seat has stoped to drop me of to my place.I scream aloud and run into the forest thinking that somebody is making a fool out of me.
Then i run into the sign i neded for.But it looks like i will never get there in time.I must hurry.
I felt release when i saw sight like this.All alone in nature and the toilet seat,what a great place to be!!Then i heard some freaking weird sound coming from the bushes,i run instantly to save my life!!!
I get out from the forest and run into the local restaurant.I said"This is what i need",and when i get inside i started to laugh like madman so everyone has staring at me.

The Amazing Hunt for the God Particle

ATLAS detector inside the massive collider is the size of three football fields.

One of the most burning questions in the minds of many scientists is how exactly our universe started. In Geneva, 2,500 researchers came together to create one of the world’s largest particle colliders.
The massive ATLAS detector takes shape under the French-Swiss border. It will help physicists discover how the universe works by observing it at its smallest scale.

The world's largest solenoid magnet will fit inside a steel cylinder at the heart of the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS). CMS and three other main detectors housed in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) may reveal unknown subatomic particles.
The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is located 100 meters under the ground in Geneva and has a circumference of 27 km (over 16 miles). The massive LHC will be used by researchers to probe the beginnings of our universe.

Claude Leroy, a physics professor from Université de Montréal, was one of the scientists involved in the project and responsible for creating the ATLAS detector used in the collider to provide a new look at the conditions that occurred during the Big Bang and immediately following.
An engineer works on one of more than a thousand magnets that will steer particles toward collision. The collider's innards include pipes for the particle beams and liquid-helium-filled pipes that will cool the magnets to minus 456oF (minus 271oC), so they can carry more electric current and exert greater force.

Slowly, carefully, a million-dollar superconducting magnet is lowered 300 feet (90 meters) into the particle collider. The product of a decade of designing and manufacture, this magnet and similar ones, each weighing up to 19 tons, will be deployed to focus particle beams at the point of collision, with a goal of 600 million impacts per second.

Glistening with sensors, components of the CMS detector near completion for a start-up later this year. As protons collide, detectors will track a flood of data that could yield evidence of elusive particles that physicists seek.
ATLAS is the largest of the four detectors inside the LHC and is a massive device in its own right. ATLAS is 7,000 tons in weight, 46 meters in length, and 25 meters in height.

Leroy conducted the radiation and irradiation studies to ensure ATLAS ran smoothly when in operation. Leroy also created a device called MPX, which is a small device attached throughout the LHC and ATLAS to perform real-time measurements of the spectral characteristics and composition of radiation inside and around the ATLAS detector. The device is said to capture images of what’s inside the detector and its environment like neutrons and photons.
For the LHC to operate, its components must be cooled to a superconducting state. Some components of the LHC will be cooled to minus 456 degrees Fahrenheit by cooling the magnets with liquid helium. Parts of the ATLAS device will be cooled with liquid argon to minus 312 Fahrenheit.

When in operation the LHC will collide two beams of particles at close to the speed of light in an attempt to answer what the 96% of the unknown universe is made of, why particles have mass, why nature prefers matter of antimatter, and what lies beyond Earth’s dimension.

Armand Van Helden 'I Want Your Soul'

Biography

Van Helden was born in Boston in 1970 to an Indo (Dutch/Indonesian) father and a French-Lebanese mother, but travelled around the world as a child spending time in the Netherlands, Latvia, Turkey and Italy, as his father was a member of the U.S. Air Force. At the age of thirteen, he bought a drum machine and started DJing two years later.

He returned to Boston in 1988 but also moonlighted as a DJ in Boston clubs. He attended Boston University. He quit his legal review job in 1991 to work as a remixer under the management of Neil Petricone and X-MIX (North America's leading Remix & Compilation Service). He took up an DJ residency at The Loft, a top Boston nightclub at the time. He released his first official single, a mix of Deep Creed's "Stay On My Mind" through Nervous Records.

He released "Move It To the Left" (credited to Sultans of Swing) in 1992 on the Strictly Rhythm label, which became a moderate club hit. His first track to make the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart was "Witch Doktor" which made the top 5 in 1994.

The success of "Witch Doktor" led to opportunities to remix acts such as New Order, Deep Forest, Jimmy Somerville, Deee-Lite and Faithless.

However, it was the "Professional Widow" remix that established him and became a dance hit around the world as well as a number one hit in the UK. Unfortunately, Van Helden did not receive a penny for this mix as he presented it uncommissioned, and thus was not entitled to compensation. However, it led to work remixing The Rolling Stones, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears and Puff Daddy as well as Daft Punk and Sneaker Pimps, adding to his reputation as one of the world's top house musicians.

"Cha Cha" was another top ten dance hit from his first album Old School Junkies released in 1996, along with "The Funk Phenomena". A greatest hits album appeared the next year followed by a breakbeat album later in 1997. "U Don't Know Me" was a number two hit on the Billboard dance chart, a Number one in the UK and a top 20 single on the pop charts in Australia and Canada.

The song was the breakout track from his 2Future4U album, which was released stateside on Armand's own label Armed Records.

Van Helden released the Killing Puritans album in 2000 (also on Armed Records) which contained the dance hit, "Koochy". His single "Why Can't You Free Some Time" made the number 34 in the UK in 2001. His New York: A Mix Odyssey album released in 2004 produced two hits, "Hear My Name", a collaboration with Spalding Rockwell which reached number 7 on the Billboard dance chart, number 34 in the UK, and the top 40 in Australia; and "My My My", which reached number 4 on the world internet charts, number 5 in the Belgian and Dutch charts, number 6 in Australia, number 15 in the UK and top 30 in the world dance charts.

In 2005 he released the album Nympho, featuring the singles "Into Your Eyes", "My My My", "Hear My Name" and "When the Lights Go Down". The album reached the top 30 in Australia, and number 48 in the UK.

Van Helden was the featured DJ in the Southern Fried tent at Get Loaded in the Park at Clapham Common on the August bank holiday in 2005. He treated concertgoers with an incredible mash up set, which is still spoken about today about being one of his best performances.

In 2007, Armand Van Helden released his new album, Ghettoblaster, from which he released the singles "NYC Beat", reaching number 22 in the UK chart, and "I Want Your Soul".

Blunt (real name Blount) was born in Tidworth, Wiltshire, England in 1974 and educated at Elstree School, Woolhampton, then Harrow School (where he received his nickname 'Blunty'). From there he gained an army sponsored place at Bristol University, before finally completing his education at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Blunt's father was in the British Army Air Corps, and his family has a long history of military service. The Blunt family is also known for the restoration of Cley windmill[1].

Blunt was then a commissioned officer in the Life Guards regiment, a unit of the Household Cavalry of the British Army. He rose to the rank of Captain and served as an armoured reconaissance officer in the NATO peacekeeping force in Kosovo. It was here that he wrote his song "No Bravery". He was also on duty for the funeral of the Queen Mother on 9 April 2002. In a TV4 Nyhetsmorgon interview, he mentioned that he had been shot at more times than 50 Cent.
Singing career

James Blunt's debut single in the UKwas "High" (co-written with Ricky Ross of Deacon Blue). This song peaked below the Top 100 of the UK Singles Chart. However, the song was chosen to appear in a Vodafone commercial in Italy, and as a result was a Top 10 hit. Some people have suggested that the title of his song "High" is in reference to drugs; Blunt, however, claims this to be untrue. In the USA, "You're Beautiful" made its debut in the summer of 2005 on WPLJ, a prominent radio station in New York City, despite not having been released to radio yet. Once the song was released to radio stations in the Fall 2005 the song climbed into the Top 10 at three radio formats: Adult Contemporary, Adult Top 40, and Adult Alternative, eventually climbing to number 1 on the Hot 100.

The videos for all of Blunt's singles to date feature symbolism and dark imagery. In the first video for "High", he is buried in a desert. In the first video for "Wisemen", he is kidnapped and taken hostage. In the video for "You're Beautiful", he alludes to suicide by jumping into an ocean as the final lyrics are sung. The re-release video for "High" then features Blunt running from some unknown predator in a forest. The re-release video for "Wisemen" has Blunt burning identification papers, and then walking through a forest while on fire.

Reactions to success

Blunt's dramatic rise to popularity and success has garnered hostility. His short-notice billing at a major summer festival, ousting the now lesser known Declan O'Rourke, led the latter to refer to him as "James Cucking Funt" live on-air on an Irish radio station. The name James Blunt has now become Cockney Rhyming Slang (a 'right James').

The Sunday Telegraph's Mandrake column has claimed that Blunt is in fact three years older than his publicity claims. Athletically built, dark haired US actor / screenwriter / director of European parentage may never be mentioned by old school film critics in the same breath as say, Richard Burton or Alec Guinness, however movie fans world wide have been flocking to see Stallone's films for over 30 years, making "Sly" one of Hollywoods biggest ever box office draw cards.
Born on July 6th, 1946 in New York's gritty "Hells Kitchen", the young Stallone attended the American College of Switzerland and the University of Miami eventually obtaining a BA degree. Initially, he struggled in small parts in films such as the soft core The Party at Kitty and Stud's (1970), the thriller Klute (1971) and the comedy Bananas (1971). However, he got a crucial career break alongside fellow young actor Henry Winkler sharing lead billing in the effectively written teen gang film _Lord's of Flatbush, The (1974).
Further film & TV roles followed, although most of them in uninspiring productions, except for the opportunity to play a megalomaniac, bloodthirsty race driver named "Machine Gun Joe Viterbo" in the Roger Corman produced Death Race 2000 (1975). However, Stallone was also keen to be recognized as a screenwriter, not just an actor, and inspired by the 1975 Muhammad Ali - Chuck Wepner fight in Cleveland, Stallone wrote a film script about a nobody fighter given the "million to one opportunity" to challenge for the heavyweight title. Rocky (1976) became the stuff of cinematic legends, scoring ten Academy Award nominations, winning the Best Picture Award of 1976 and triggering one of the most financially successful movie franchises in history ! Whilst full credit is wholly deserved by Stallone, he was duly supported by tremendous acting from fellow cast members Talia Shire, Burgess Meredith and Burt Young and director John G. Avildsen gave the film an emotive, earthy appeal from start to finish. Stallone had truly arrived on his terms, and offers poured in from various studio's eager to secure Hollywoods hottest new star.
Stallone followed Rocky (1976) with F.I.S.T (1978), loosely based on the life of Teamsters boss, "Jimmy Hoffa", and Paradise Alley (1978), before pulling on the boxing gloves again to resurrect "Rocky Balboa" in the sequel Rocky II (1979). The second outing for the "Italian Stallion" wasn't as powerful or successful as the the first "Rocky", however it still produced strong box office. Subsequent films Nighthawks (1981) and Victory (1981) failed to ignite with audiences, so Stallone was once again lured back to familiar territory with Rocky III (1982) and a fearsome opponent in "Clubber Lang" played by muscular ex-bodyguard Mr. T. The third "Rocky" installment far outperformed the first sequel in box office takings, however Stallone was to "retire" his prize fighter for a couple of years as another mega-franchise was about to be commence for the busy actor.
The character of Green Beret "John Rambo" was the creation of Canadian born writer David Morrell and his novel was adapted to the screen with Stallone in the lead role in First Blood (1982) also starring Richard Crenna and Brian Dennehy. The movie was a surprise hit that polarized audiences because of its commentary about the Vietnam war, that was still relatively fresh in the American public's psyche. Political viewpoints aside, the film was a world wide smash and a sequel soon followed with Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985) which drew even stronger criticism from several quarters due to the films plot line about American MIA's allegedly being held in Vietnam. But they say there is no such thing as bad publicity, and "John Rambo's" second adventure was a major money spinner for Stallone and cemented him as one of the top male stars of the 1980s.
Riding a wave of amazing popularity, Stallone called on old sparring partner, "Rocky Balboa" to climb back into the ring to defend US pride against Soviet threat's in the form of a towering Russian boxer named "Ivan Drago" played by mono-syllabic Dolph Lundgren in Rocky IV (1985). The fourth outing was somewhat controversial with "Rocky" fans as violence levels seemed excessive over previous "Rocky" films, especially with the savage beating suffered by "Apollo Creed" aka Carl Weathers at the hands of the unstoppable "Siberian Express".

Stallone continued forward with a slew of "macho character" themed films that met with a mixed reception from his fans. Cobra (1986) , Over the Top (1987) , Rambo III (1988) saw Rambo take on the Russians in Afghanistan, and cop buddy film Tango & Cash (1989) just didn't quite hit the mark, although it did feature a top notch cast and there was chemistry between Stallone and co-star Kurt Russell.

Philadelphia's favorite "mythical" boxer moved out of the shadows for his fifth screen outing in Rocky V (1990) tackling "Tommy Machine Gunn" aka Tommy Morrison real life heavy weight fighter and the great nephew of screen legend John Wayne,...."Sly" quickly followed with the lukewarm comedy Oscar (1991), Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot (1992), the futuristic action of Demolition Man (1993) and the comic book inspired Judge Dredd (1995). Interestingly, Stallone then took a departure from the "gung ho" steely characters he had been portraying, to stack on a few extra pounds and tackle a more dramatically challenging role in the intriguing Cop Land (1997) also starring Robert De Niro and Ray Liotta. It isn't a classic of the genre, but Cop Land (1997) certainly surprised many critics with Stallone's understated performance.

Stallone then lent his vocal talents to the animated adventure story Antz (1998), reprized the role made famous by Michael Caine in a remake of Get Carter (2000), climbed back into a race car for Driven (2001) and he guest starred as the "Toymaker" in the third chapter of the immensely popular "Spy Kids" film series Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over (2003).
